What Is Wall Cladding?
These are decorative fluted panels used to cover walls completely or as a feature wall in the living room, behind the bed or behind the TV, available in a range of finishes that mimic metal, concrete or burnt wood.
Available Materials and Finishes
Made from lightweight, moisture-resistant PVC or WPC composites, the range includes these finishes: metallic fluted, reddish fluted, light grey tone, dark charcoal and Swiss mist - to suit every taste in decor, from industrial modern to calm Scandinavian.
Installation Method
The pieces clip together with a simple side-lock system over a light mounting rail, or bond straight to the wall with installation adhesive once it is level. No filler or paint is needed afterwards because the finish comes ready from the factory.
Wall Cladding vs. Paint and Wallpaper
Unlike wallpaper, which tears and fades over time, cladding offers greater durability and hides wall defects with no need to treat the wall first - something ordinary paint cannot do.
Frequently asked questions about wall cladding
Do wall panels hide cracks in the wall?
Yes, thanks to their slim thickness and direct installation over the wall, they hide hairline cracks and uneven surfaces without any structural treatment.
How many panels do I need to cover a 3×2.7-meter wall?
Usually between 12 and 15 pieces depending on the width of the chosen panel; it is best to add one or two spare pieces for corner cuts.
Are wall panels suitable for the kitchen or bathroom?
They are suitable for kitchens in areas away from direct heat sources and splashing water; for bathrooms the stone alternative or stone sheet range is preferable as it resists constant humidity better.
Do wall panels require regular maintenance?
They need no more than periodic wiping with a damp cloth to remove dust, without strong chemicals that may affect the finish layer.
